Today I pulled out the few pieces of clothing I have suitable for the Tournament of Love and Beauty, an SCA event. I basically have two underdresses and 15th early 14th century-inspired blue gown. Last night I went with melaniesuzanne for the final fitting of her wedding dress. It is gorgeous and MelanieSuzanne is going to make a beautiful bride, but we already knew that. I suspect if any women in her immediate family had been with us, they would have teared up; the dress is just that beautiful on her. I came home tonight just buzzing with ideas of what I can do with my SCA garb. Hovering between 12th and 14th/15th century. And the people I met with MAKE their own patterns. I’ve never done that.
